With it’s world-class career center for your corporate web site, leading web-based applicant tracking system, internet-wide job posting as well as candidate and line manager self-service, SmartSearch Online provides our clients the technology framework for their Internet recruiting strategy. And, SmartSearch Online is the only product offering wireless access and complete integration with MS Outlook Career Center - SmartSearch Online provides job management capabilities that fully integrate your recruitment efforts with the World Wide Web. Candidates visiting your corporate web site can search for their ideal job, submit their resume, create an account which allows them to apply for jobs and update their resume and even create a job profile which calls them back to your site when a job meeting their requirements is entered. Additionally, candidates can fill out your employment application and other required paperwork from over the internet or from kiosks deployed in your intake areas. Best of all this is completely integrated with our applicant tracking system that is on your users desktop. Comprehensive Candidate Screening - Using SmartSearch Online, the creation and management of candidate screening questions is a snap. Questions ranging from simple yes/no to multiple choice and narrative answers are easily created for any job. Since the Career Center and Applicant Tracking System are completely integrated all screening questions are immediately present on your Career Center. And, candidate replies are automatically recorded in their permanent SmartSearch record making evaluations quick and easy. Applicant Tracking System - SmartSearch Online is a web-based based software application for the management of information relating to the staffing process - Jobs, Candidates, Hiring Managers and Hiring Organizations. In 1998 we began by providing this application as an outsourcing service to organizations that did not wish to implement systems in-house, serving as an Application Service Provider (ASP). Candidate searches can be accomplished quickly using ordinary English words and phrases. Our search is the fastest in the industry; typically searches through databases of 100,000 or more resumes take only a matter of seconds. Once a search is complete the results (lists of names, corresponding resumes and contact history), ranked according to how closely they match the employers requirements, are displayed on screen. All search criteria is highlighted contextually within the resume for rapid screening and evaluation. Using this service, organizations can be assured that candidate screening takes place as rapidly as possible after the receipt of the information and more importantly all candidates (both current and historical) are reviewed against current job openings. Job Track, our user definable workflow management system, supports an infinite number of hiring “tracks”. You decide the required steps in the hiring process so that the sequence of actions is organized appropriately for each specific job or class of jobs. Additionally, SmartSearch Online automates the collection of information from candidates and applicants. Our on-line application is available to candidates on the Internet and is also deployable as a kiosk in employment reception areas. Once a candidate enters a resume or creates an application their information is immediately available in the organizations resume database for recruiting efforts. Hiring Portal - Your hiring managers can visit your web site, log on and manage the jobs they want your help filling. There are a host of optional capabilities you can offer them including access to performance statistics and even reviewing the resumes of candidates selected for their jobs. External Job Posting – Your jobs can be automatically posted to a variety of external job posting sites, so you don’t have to go through the laborious process of posting jobs individually to your favorite sites. And when candidates respond, SmartSearch Online will process the resumes and record their source. MS Outlook Integration – SmartSearch Online addresses your scheduling, calendaring and task management needs with an incredibly effective solution - we integrate directly to MS Outlook for all calendaring and scheduling. This approach eliminates the need for users to maintain multiple calendaring systems. And, when Outlook notifies you of a schedule item originating from SmartSearch it not only references the appropriate information in the actual schedule record but it contains a “link” which when clicked automatically opens the appropriate record in SmartSearch Online. Wireless Access – Since SmartSearch Online is a web-based application you can access your database anywhere you have a computer connected to the Internet. However, there are times when carrying a computer is not possible or appropriate. Now using the latest technology APS has enabled wireless access to your database information. From net ready cell phones and palm devices you can look up records, review activities and even get maps to your customer’s facilities. Integration With Third Party Systems – APS has developed middleware that enables SmartSearch Online to notify appropriate personnel in other departments when events occur which affect payroll and/ other accounting or HRIS systems. Additionally, data can be exported in a variety of formats to facilitate the exchange of data with other databases and systems. Using our middleware solution can minimize the need for extensive customization of SmartSearch Online or the third-party applications and can provide for automated transfer of information between the applications. |
