SmartSearch Online – Job Track
APS pioneered user definable hiring workflow systems and offers an easy and comprehensive
way to move candidates through the hiring process - Job Track. Job Track allows customers to define each potential set
of hiring "events" and then intuitively guides the user through those steps in the appropriate order automatically
updating all system files in the process.
Customer administrators predefine one or more “job tracks” which specify the steps in the
process -- the “job actions” -- and the order in which they should occur. As each action is performed, the
system automatically generates a color-coded “job action note” which may be viewed and edited from the candidate,
business, contact or job record. Additionally, for selected actions, a detailed form is offered which allows
additional data to be entered such as pay rates, important dates or other information.
Hiring "events" in Job Track can be set-up as required or desired. And even more powerfully, each event can be
subject to contigencies, where the user cannot proceed to the next action until all appropriate preceding steps have
been completed. In this way SmartSearch Online customers have complete control over each phase of the hiring process.
Job tracks are available for viewing and execution from the candidate records and job folders. Additionally,
comprehensive reporting is available which covers details or aggregate data from job track activities.
