SmartSearch Online - Data Gateway

The SmartSearch Online Data Gateway is an effective way for clients to manage employee change actions and time reporting and to enable the creation of data which can be transferred or imported into third party accounting or HRIS systems. This optional feature has two primary components: Employee Change Records and Time Reporting.

Processing Employee Change Records

This feature will create a transaction record for specific employee changes including:

New hire information

Address and rate changes

Terminations

A transaction record is created for these employee transactions that are then displayed or printed by your browser, Word or Excel. In addition, these transactions can also be written to a generic interface file for automated processing into your accounting system.

Additional features include:

A separate email message can be sent to accounting for each transaction as it is entered.

Late transactions, defined as those received after the cutoff day and hour, will generate an email message advising that the transaction must be expedited manually through the accounting process to apply it to the current payroll.

Transactions can be captured, or batched, on a regularly defined schedule (typically weekly) and submitted to accounting in an interface files. These transactions can be displayed or printed.

An accounting report that organizes transactions by Terminations, New Hires, Address Changes and Rate Changes can be generated or viewed.
